Christopher Lambert Height: 5′ 11″
French actor known for films such as Highlander, Greystoke, Subway, and Fortress. In this convention photo, I had about 0.3 inches more sneakers than him.
Christopher Lambert was born in Long Island, United States. His father was a United Nations diplomat of French and English origins. His mother was American. At the age of two, he moved to Switzerland with his father and then attended a private boarding school in Geneva. At the age of 12, he participated in a theatre play and thus developed an interest in acting. Later, he went to Paris, France, to study theatre. Perhaps because of these experiences, his screen characters were less abrupt in America and more refined. He portrays a classic European-style forest ranger. In 1985, he starred in Luc Besson's film "The Underground", lost all his beings, and won the Best Actor award at the 11th Caesars Film Festival.
Perhaps the general audience doesn't know him well, but when one mentions his girlfriend, many people will slap their foreheads and realize that he and his significant other are superstars that few know - French actress Sophie Marceau.
Inspired by him at the age of 12, he decided that he wanted to become an actor, against his parents' wishes. In order to please his parents, he decided to work at the London Stock Exchange and served in the French army for some time.
Although Lambert was born in the United States, he is French. His father was a French diplomat based in the United States at Lambert's birth. Lambert's growing years were spent in Geneva, Switzerland, and his family moved there when he was two years old, then he returned to Paris at the age of 16. Lambert served in the French army, seemingly at his father's insistence.
It might be a mistake to say this, but I know my limits as an actor and I know what I can and cannot do. Robert De Niro can do anything. I can't. A film like "Highlander" is fundamentally my kind of thing. What I'm trying to do is to develop my abilities as an actor and try to be the best I can in the fantasy/action genre. I would love to do a "Rain Man", but I think that's ultimately my thing.
The blushing Lambert has since lived between France and Hollywood. But he quickly got used to this drifting and lively life. In 1985, Lambert, who had just finished "Avery Shuhachi", "Dialogue and Music", was selected by "Luc Besson" and played the hero in "Fengdu Night". He took the film with him. The Caesar Award for Best Male Star. After that, he reprised the science fiction film "Time and Space". The film was such a success that four sequels were released in one breath, and Lambert participated in two of them. However, the response to the sequels obviously wasn't as good as the first one. Lambert also showed his face in a television series based on the film's plot.
