      These are fun shoes. Not expensive. They look nice. They do smell, however, when you first take them out of the box. I put them on my back patio to air out for a day or two. After that, they were good to go with no noticeable bad smell. I would not wear them in a closed environment right out of the box. The lace up makes it easy to get them on and off. I'm glad that I bought them.

      I like the look of these boots but they do not have much cushioning in them. They were not designed for all-day comfort. It does take a while to break them in. Other than that I like the boots. They are well made. They can be worn with a pair of jeans or slacks either one depending on the occasion.
