      I'm not sure why elevator shoes have to be so heavy but these are lighter than the Calto shoes I tried and returned and more comfortable although they are also more expensive. I think once they break in they will be more comfortable. I also wish they had 1/2 sizes. I ordered an 9 but really needed an 9.5. I'm using a shoe stretcher to widen them and so far it seems to be working.
